Grammy and Pappaw got Brady this Radio Flier Roadster for his birthday. It's cute in the pictures, but it's even cuter in person. Brady got to play with his toy a little bit before his nap and birthday party. As you can see, he was pretty tickled with it.
We had a really good turn out including both sides of the family, friends and neighbors. Taylor made burgers and hot dogs for everyone. It was really hot outside; I was grateful he had it covered.
This is my favorite picture from Brady's birthday party. It's so strange to see him with a teethy grin!
Brady cried while we brought the cake and sang happy birthday. I think he was a little overwhelmed by all the attention. At first he would gently touch the cake with his finger.
Once he got past the frosting, he really dug into this delicious banana cake.
We haven't really let Brady practice feeding himself with a spoon, but he tried today and did a great job.
I went a little bit crazy with the "cake". We made a banana cake for Brady and had a few types of cupcakes for our guests.
Brady received a lot of really wonderful gifts.
Grammy bakes little "1" cookies with a poem attached, as party favors.
